McGill has served as the Chief Executive Officer of MarineMax since January 1998 and as the Chairman of the Board and as a director of the company since March 1998.  McGill was the principal owner and president of Gulfwind USA, Inc., an operating subsidiary from 1973 until its merger with MarineMax.

Hood is assisting Joi Scientific as an advisor and as an investor, overseeing the scale up of the technology and the development of the Joi-branded product line.

Jay’s background is in manufacturing, primarily in the marine industry where he has built, managed, owned, and consulted to pleasure craft manufacturing facilities and marine companies worldwide.  Jay has built 13 factories, managed 3 successful turnarounds and is a leading expert in the development of composite engineering.

Mike is a proven electrical engineer, entrepreneur, and is the CEO of Kenyon International, Inc.  Under Mike’s leadership, Kenyon has led the way with the breakthrough development of ceramic glass cooktops for the high seas, becoming the standard for yachts around the world. The immense popularity of Kenyon’s cooktops led to high-demand for shore-side models. Today, Kenyon International, Inc. is the largest manufacturer in North America of two burner ceramic glass cooktops and high quality stainless steel electric grills.

Jeremy is a consulting engineer, contractor, and advisor to Joi Scientific.  

Jeremy is an experienced industrial engineer and entrepreneur. His experience includes working as an industrial engineer at an advanced semiconductor fabricator where his focus was layout and operation of a clean room manufacturing environment.  Jeremy transitioned to a semiconductor equipment manufacturer where he refined his experience with mechanical assembly, precision machining, and welding processes. 

Steve brings more than 35 years of wide-ranging executive experience in operations, finance, marketing, and strategic planning across a multitude of industries including marine, manufactured housing, recreational vehicles, and consumer finance.  

Bay has held senior level positions in finance, marketing, operations, HR, and IT in a broad array of industries from aviation through tech.  Bay recently retired as EVP and partner of the Farwell Group, consistently ranked as one of the top recruiting firms in South Florida.  Bay, who has a keen interest in hydrogen for many years, is active in Joi’s research and business operations.
